A catalytic converter coated with mixed metal oxides reduces the already very low carbon monoxide (CO) emissions from HASE iQ stoves by another 30%. The result: The emission values are at an extremely low level during every combustion phase of the fire – for even better environmental protection. HASE stoves are designed and built with the greatest care in full alignment with our commitment to social responsibility and sustainable business practices. Our stoves are 100% made in Germany, in our manufactory in Trier. Heating with a HASE stove is ecofriendly, efficient and low-emission. It also supports the regional timber industry and does not rely on fossil fuels.
The catalytic converter is integrated above the stove’s firebox. To make sure it’s working at full efficiency, it must be cleaned regularly. For this purpose, the catalytic converter can be easily brushed off through a special opening in the firebox. The catalytic converter can be removed for more thorough cleaning after the stove has been in use for a longer time.
