Questions and Answers

Here, you can find answers to the most frequently asked questions.

1. How can I find exactly the right stove for me?

Round or angular, black, silver-grey, or umbra, ceramic, or soapstone – Hase has a large selection of stoves to choose from. To help decide which stove is right for you, you can use our online configurator to design your dream stove. Your authorised Hase-Dealer will be glad to personally meet with you to advise you on specific issues, such as what the right thermal output for your home is, or questions concerning the chimney connection.

2. Where can I purchase a Hase stove?

Hase stoves can only be purchased at our regional authorised dealers, letting you experience our stoves up close and personal in the showroom and get all the information you need from a Hase partner near you.

3. Where can I find information about prices and delivery times?

We'll be glad to send you a price list upon request. Your authorised Hase dealer will be glad to give you a complete quote including delivery, flue pipes, and installation. Your authorised dealer can also inform you about the current delivery times.

5. How do I order replacement parts?

Your Hase stove comes with a long-term parts availability guarantee for replacement parts. Please order replacement parts from your authorised dealer, he or she will also be glad to provide you with information about prices and delivery times.

6.What is a direct vent stove?

When a stove is installed, a tightly sealed building can prevent an adequate supply of air to the stove. To ensure a sufficient supply of combustion air, a separate air supply duct is guided from the outside and into the fire box of the stove. There are 2 categories of direct vent stoves: stoves with an external combustion air connection and certified vent stoves.

4. Where can I find the dimensions and combustion values?

You can download a data sheet containing all the dimensions in detail and the combustion values in the Technical Data section.

7. My chimney sweep asked for a test stand measurement certificate (particulate matter and CO values)?

The test stand measurement certificates for all current Hase stoves are located here.
The measurement of particulate matter and CO values has only been legally required since March, 2010. However, upon request, we can also send you certificates for most of the stove models from previous series.

7. Do stoves need a particulate matter air filter?

Stoves with clean combustion processes do not need particulate matter air filters. All Hase stoves meet the planned standards for low particulate matter and CO values, and thus do not require an additional fine particulate air filter.

9. Is it worth it to retrofit older stoves with a fine particle filter?

Probably not, since the costs for retrofit solutions such as catalytic combustors and fine particle filters (separators) range between 800 and 2,500 euros, plus any necessary additional expenses for maintenance and service.
Depending on the construction and design, the retrofitted equipment can interfere with the working stove and chimney system, which can have a negative effect on the stove’s combustion performance. For that reason, we do not offer any retrofit solutions.

In our overview table, we have listed all Hase models from the previous years, so that you can easily check whether the use and operation of your stove is time-limited by the new German Federal Immission Control Act (Bundesimmissionsschutzverordnung):
