A Passion for Form and Function
A deep and genuine enthusiasm for art and architecture, and the joy of transforming design into technology, are passions shared by the two managing directors of Hase Kaminofenbau: Walter Blasius, architect, and Fernando Najera, designer.
Walter Blasius laid the foundation for the company back in the 1970s when he designed a stove for his personal use. The demand for the stove rose so quickly that he turned his passion for fire into a profession. Within just a few years, Hase Kaminofenbau GmbH evolved from a small craftsman's business into one of Germany's leading stove manufacturers.
Fernando Najera joined the team as a designer in the mid-1990s. He has been on the management staff since 2003, and today, is managing director in charge of Hase stove design. He has been merging design and technology ever since he started his education and training: First, he studied engineering, then switched to design, and finally earned his degree as a communication designer in Madrid, Spain.
Antje Pittner, who has a degree in Economics, has been in charge of the Controlling, Tax and Finance departments since 2011.
Eva Maria Blasius, daughter of the company’s founder, Walter Blasius, successfully completed her degree in economic science. She assumed executive responsibility at Hase in early 2013.
